Launch Your Own Branded Matcha or Spice Line — Factory Direct from Japan

Private label & OEM

What we offer

Private label means your brand on the finished product while Yuminaga manufactures, packages, and quality-controls to your specification—not anonymous reselling. We are a family-run Japanese manufacturer with certified processing in Shizuoka.

Custom packaging

Tin size, pouch weight, bulk bags, and label design—brand name, brewing instructions, origin claims, barcodes, and allergen statements subject to regulatory review.

Custom blends

Ceremonial, premium, or culinary grade; Shizuoka, Kagoshima, or blended lots; organic where available and certifiable for your target market.

OEM supply

Dedicated lot allocation, milling, filling, and QC release for food manufacturers, RTD brands, and co-packers who need a locked specification lot to lot.

White-label

Your label on retail-ready or foodservice packaging. Grade, origin story, organic status, and packaging are defined upfront and repeated across reorders.

Strong fit for retail and e-commerce brands, cafe groups, wellness companies, and food manufacturers with clear channels and repeat demand. Read our deeper guide: Private label matcha — what to know before you start.

How it works

Process steps

A practical path from brief to first production run. Repeat orders compress setup once specifications are approved.

  1. Share your brief

Define use case (retail tin, cafe bag, or manufacturing ingredient), target grade, estimated volume, markets, and packaging concept.

  2. Receive sample

Evaluate grade selection, tasting in your application, and COA review before locking a program.

  3. Approve specs

Lock grade, net weight, label copy, packaging dielines, and regulatory claims so every lot matches your brand standard.

  4. Production + fulfillment

Lot allocation, milling, packaging, QC release, and shipping—air for speed or ocean for larger programs.

Volume

Minimum quantities

Private label minimums depend on grade, packaging type, and whether you need organic certification or custom dimensions. Volume drives unit economics for label printing, dedicated lot allocation, and filling-line setup.

  • Packaging format — Custom-printed tins, stand-up pouches, or bulk foodservice bags each have different setup thresholds.
  • Grade and origin — Ceremonial and organic lots may require larger commitments to secure single-origin tencha.
  • Market and compliance — U.S., EU, and other markets may need specific label elements, language, and COA formats.
  • Repeat vs. one-off — First orders include artwork and spec validation; reorders typically run at lower effective minimums.

Trial sizes are available before committing to full production runs. Many buyers start by sampling our standard wholesale grades, then transition to private label once the recipe and grade are proven—a lower-risk way to validate demand before investing in custom packaging.
